The Centennial Clock: A Memorable and Long Lasting Historical Marker

The Unveiling of the Centennial Clock. The Centennial Clock proudly stands at the center in front of the two concrete black carabaos at the Rizal Park, Roxas Blvd. The clock was unveiled by Executive Secretary Ronnie Zamora (representing Pres. Joseph “Erap” Estrada) and PGM MW Enrique Locsin on 15 May 1999. It tells accurately the time to all the passers-by at the park as the satellite controls its movement with precision. It also reminds us that 100 years ago, our forefathers had successfully launched a revolution against the Spaniards. Mencius Lodge plays a significant role in the timely completion and erection of this memorable and long lasting historical marker.
